Authoring a Booklet

Here's how to plan your booklet.

Plan the Topic

- Fix the title and scope of what you want to cover in the booklet

- Decide the level for the reading children; typically, you should try to keep both the language and the topics simple and intuitive for primary school students, and can increase complexity in coverage for secondary school students

- Ensure that you get a buddy right from the beginning to review the writeup frequently for style, accuracy and readability

Collect Facts

- Add a new page in the PBWiki and link it up from the booklets directory page

- Edit contents directly as desired

- Web Contents imported can only be from open domains such as Wikipedia and Creative-Commons licensed sites (shareable with attribution); gather clips, pointers and pictures.

- Assemble in a flow and add notes for proof reader / layout designer

Submit for Review

- Drop an email to indicate the end of compilation cycle and start off the review process
